Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE CORONA VIRUS EPIDEMIC, BAPTISMS AND WEDDINGS CAN NO LONGER TAKE PLACE AND FUNERALS CAN ONLY BE CONDUCTED AS A GRAVESIDE SERVICE OR AT A CREMATORIUM CHAPEL WITH ONLY THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY ATTENDING
Baptisms - We are very pleased to baptise (or Christen) any child or adult who wishes to become a member of the Christian church. There are no pre-conditions or rules as to who can or cannot. When a child is baptised they will need at least two god-parents, one of each sex, to make the vows on behalf of the child. Baptism normally takes place during the main morning service.
Weddings - If you would like to get married in one of our churches you may like to read the rules governing where you can be married. Details
Funerals - Every parishioner has a right of burial in their parish churchyard as does any member of the church's electoral roll. Services at one of the local crematoria can also be arranged with the Rector.
